Meeeeeg. Yuugi et al last saw Mai within a day of the end of the Battle City tournament. Between Battle City and Orichalcos, Mai had nightmares for weeks at least, then met Valon, then spent weeks at least with Valon et al. We're probably talking several months that she hasn't heard from (or, more to the point, contacted) Yuugi, Jounouchi, et al. But it's only been a couple days. *frustrate*

What I’m looking for in new LJ friends: People who are happy to ramble on about all kinds of things, who like to write and read long posts and comments, and who just generally want to get to know new friends and talk about our lives beyond fandom.

Anything else!: I actually don't think of myself as a huge shipper, which seems weird given my list of ships, but it's just not the main way I engage with my fandoms - maybe because I'm not a big fic writer? I'm hugely into plot and character meta in general, though...

My role in fandom: what I like best is reading and writing fic, watching fanvids, and talking about canon/fandom, but these days I mostly just post about the show(s) I'm watching and reply to other people's posts when they're about a fandom I share and I'm online at the right time. And I reblog gifs a lot when I'm not in tumblr exile to avoid spoilers.

Non-fandom interests: I recently started studying Computer Science and am super excited (and occasionally a bit panicked) about it; reading fiction (though that's not really non-fandom). I'm a football fan, so depending on how emotionally involved I get expect some World Cup posts in the near future. ;)
