Well, we all knew the writing was going to be bad. I'm just happy Dean made sure Sam knew he had nothing to apologise for. Aside from that lovely brothers-hug, I was pleased to see (a) Mary punching Lucifer in the face and (b) Charlie making it through safely.
Oh yes. Any of their episodes that don't make me want to put my fist through the screen are a step up for them. I wonder how much input the writers actually have in addition to what the showrunners decide. At this point I have no faith in either.
Yes, I loved that it was just the two of them too. Such a lovely, quiet emotional moment. I'm so happy that J2 decided to add the hug, it was sorely needed.
YES, bless them! Jared especially seems to have made it clear that he's there to protect Sam's interests. I wonder how much worse things would have been if J2 weren't so invested in their characters.
Right? So weird. They seem to be hung up on the ensemble cast thing (look how little screen time S/D got in this episode), but they're pushing S/D aside for secondary characters, and that's really not going to work.
What. Even. I cannot. Was AU-Jimmy Novak obsessed with Raiders of the Lost Ark, and something went horribly wrong when Castiel possessed him, leading to angel psychosis?
